Iraqiya to withdraw its minister in 72 hours if Arbil agreement not implemented, MP
Iraqiya bloc MP announced that the bloc decided to withdraw its ministers within 72 hours if the government did not implement Arbil agreement.
MP Talal al-Zoba'I told Aswat al-Iraq that his bloc insists on its demands for general amnesty, cancellation of Questioning and Justice Law, and stopping random arrests against the Iraqi people.
Iraq is witnessing a great political crisis following the charges against vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi and the demotion attempt against deputy premier Saleh al-Mutlaq, both leading members in Iraqiya bloc.
Tension between Iraqiya and State of Law blocs was created due to previous complicated problems, mostly for the nominations of security ministerial posts.
In an attempt to solve these questions, President Jalal Talabani proposed a national conference, but still undecided despite the preliminary meetings.
